Currently on display are quilts from Simple Pleasures: Little Quilts from the Netherlands by Els Feteris-Stam. Thanks to quilters like Els, American folk art has reached the shores of Europe where is has been given a distinctively rich flavor. To accentuate the appealing folk-art feel of her designs, Els uses prominent quilting stitches that she calls "country-quilting."
