Paper Pieces
by Tess Herlan
Precut Paper Shapes for Paper Piece Quiltmaking
If Tess Herlan could have three middle names, they would be "English Paper
Piecing." It's her favorite technique and one she's always promoting.
English
paper piecing makes the smallest project easy to handle as seen in Tess's "Grandma's
Trip Around the World" (12" x 15", at right) Tess enjoys this
quilting method so much that she produces paper shapes in many sizes for these precise
projects.
Follow Tess's easy quide for successful stitching of any English paper-pieced pattern,
from cutting and basting to sewing and removing the papers. Her precut paper shapes ensure
success!
