Augusta

Previous Block of the Month: Augusta

A dynamic design of  radiating stars!

"Augusta" is the name given to this exciting block first printed in a periodical by the Vickery and Hill Company of Augusta, Maine. Since several magazines were published by the same company and offered similiar needlework columns and patterns, the exact source is uncertain. One possibility is that it came from Hearth and Home which first offered mail order patterns in April of 1895.
