Previous Block of the Month: Blazing Star Here's a twelve-inch block that will add a blaze of brightness to your quiltmaking.
Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns lists this distinctive block as Blazing Star. The pattern was first published over 70 years ago in the Kansas City Star - and it's just as fresh and exciting today as it was in 1930! Depending on the fabrics you use, Blazing Star could become springtime blossoms, exploding fireworks, colorful autumn leaves or a Christmas poinsettia. Try a block in your favorite colors! BLOCK SIZE: 12" square MATERIALS Yardage is estimate for 44" fabric.
CUTTING Patterns are full size and include a 1/4" seam allowance.
