Chrysanthemum Block

Previous Block of the Month: Chrysanthemum Block

Piece the essence of autumn.

The block pattern for Chrysanthemum was originally sold by a mail-order company known as Old Chelsea Station Needlecraft Service. Begun in 1933, the company first sold full-size patterns and continues to offer quilt booklets. This block is easily pieced in 4 identical sections which create  a star design when joined. Make your blocks in the deep full colors of mums to be reminded of one of nature's most beautiful flowers.
