Previous Block of the Month: The E-Z Block Make an 8-pointed star without all the fuss. The "E-Z Block" (10" square) was first published by the Kansas City Star which ran a column of new and traditional designs by staff members and readers. Piecing this 1940s block pattern is easier than making an 8 pointed star because there are no points to match in the center and no bulky seams. Debra Feece enjoyed stitching this block because it reminds her of a Poinsettia. BLOCK SIZE: 10" square MATERIALS Yardage is estimated for 44" fabric.
CUTTING Dimensions include a 1/4" seam allowance.
